For those curious why the price of Bitcoin and Alts are dropping for the moment:
Prices are dropping (IMHO) mostly because of the news about China having an "orderly exit" from Bitcoin mining. There will be lots of FUD that this is some dangerous thing and Bitcoin is dead (again) or doomed, but technically it is a non-issue.
Many of the miners in China are actually hidden and unknown, the big ones they could shut down, if they actually do it, will just pack up and move the miners elsewhere, they won't just throw away the rigs. Russia and elsewhere will pick up the slack, joyfully.
Just another day in crypto, and after around 5 years of hearing that China FUD, almost constantly, I am almost glad the PBOC and Chinese Government will have nothing left to say about Bitcoin that matters. Lastly, Chinese will continue to OTC trade Bitcoin no matter what.
Tak 3x gadā tiek paziņots, ka "CHINA BANS xxxxxx" (aizvietojam xxx ar jebko crypto-related).
Tad ir lielais crash.
Tad izrādās, ka tās bija baumas un FUD.
Tad viss atkal palecas.
