O, super. Man ir Simota CF aukstā ieplūde, Alpina ieplūdes kolektors no B3 3.3, S52 sadalenes, neliels čiptūnings, vanos repair kits no beisansystems. Ir doma nākotnē uzlabot izplūdes kolektoru un izpūtēju. Ir iespēja likt kompresoru, bet tad tad atkal viss priekš tā ir jāmaina, tāpēc pagaidām pieturos pie NA filozofijas .
Mļe, es neatteiktos no pakaļējiem plauktiem, kas nāk no Z3M. Varbūt no 3.0 Z3 reduktora arī, jo viņiem, ja nemaldos nāca torsiona tipa bloķējošais reduktors, nevis sajūga kā BMW parasti nāk.

Arguably the best part of the Z3 Coupe's story is that it shouldn't have happened at all. A renegade group of five BMW engineers, led by Burkhard Göschel, got a hold of a soon-to debut Z3 and decided to help it. They were displeased with its saggy bottom and the way its open top wreaked havoc with the trailing arms in the rear, causing the car to wobble. Cause wobble ain't precise. For the next few months, after work and on the weekends, the heroic five performed rhinoplasty on the diminutive retro drop top and out came the Z3 Coupe. Only these guys didn't spend all their free time just to make an odd looking wagon. They were thinking ultimate driving machine from the get go, rationalizing that they could convince BMW to build the Z3 Coupe if there was a cheaper, lesser model. Which is why while Z3 roadsters have narrow hips and M Roadsters have broad ones, all Z3 Coupes never had anything but child-bearers. This new body made the Coupes 2.7-times stiffer than then their roadster siblings and at the time, the most rigid BMW yet built. The Z3 Coupe, unlike some 1.9-liter Z3s we know of, was never offered with anything less than a six. And thankfully, for the purposes of our fantasies, they dropped the M-Division's miraculous 3.2-liter straight six into the M."
Nu nezinu. inženieri jau radīja z3. pēc tam marketologi no tā uztaisīja neproporcionālu un neglītu coupe (vismaz tajos laikos manuprāt tas glīts neskaitījās). tāpēc jau arī tie ir tik reti, ka maz bija pieprasīti.

Nē, man nepatīk īsti kā izskatās kupeja. Agrāk vispār riebās, tagad esmu mazliet pieradis un ir pieņemama. Bet nav tā, ka wow, atšķirībā no kabrioleta.

Gan kupeju, gan rodsteri veidoja inženieri, nu nav tā, ka rodsteri inženieri ieraudzīja gatavu izripojam no mārketinga nodaļas .
Rodsteri veidoja ar domu pareklamēt un mazliet pamainīt BMW tēlu (vairāk uz sportiskāku auto pusi), pēc iespējas izmantojot esošās tehnoloģijas. Tāpēc arī Z3 ir nosēts ar bmw emblēmām - priekšā, pakaļā, uz katra sāna, uz riteņiem, uz sūres un uz atslēgām.
Leģenda vēsta, ka kupeju radīja BMW pazemes garāžā savā brīvajā laikā (kā jau rakstīts iepriekš), un dizaineris tika pieaicināts tikai pašā pēdējā brīdī, lai tiktu galā ar dažām detaļām.
Lai nu kā, latvietim praktiskajam ir grūti uztvert jebkura z3 jēgu - zems, tikai 2 vietas, vietas kartupeļiem maz, un ja bez jumta, tad vispār ārprāc. Vispārīgi esmu dzirdējis viedokli, ka rodsteris ir "the most undervalued bmw car", kam varu lielā mērā piekrist.
