Jaasaka ka tiesaaja korekti un speele bija ahuuna. Progress khl attiecinaams tikai uz Latvijas izlasi. Krievijai regress
I'm not gonna lie; I was sort of rooting for Latvia when the score was still tied in the 3rd. You have to admit it would've made for a heartwarming story if Gudlevskis had been able to steal the game away
The 180 Million dollar worth of NHLers vs. zero dollar no-stars and the Latvians come within fraction of a single hair strand of knocking them out !!!! Too bad it wasn't meant to be as it would have been great for hockey and a humbling lesson in humility to the arrogant "gold or nothing" mentality.
I'm for Canada all the way but, man, what an effort by the Latvians! Especially after what must have been a tough game after their victory over the Swiss yesterday. Good for the hockey-crazed small Baltic nation and good for Ted Nolan...
