Man liekas tur daba ne pārāk, kā arī kaimiņvalstis aizdomīgas. Vajadzētu, lai šie attīra kādu labāku vietu
citas valstis nav tik spozhu liideru pie rulljiem lai varetu vinas tik atri nolidzinat un tikt pie teritorijas, bet tas gan, no kadas mazas platibas D-Amerikaa neatteiktos vajag tagad kosmisko plaanu kaa pavirziit US atbriivot to valsti vai pasargaat paareejo pasauli no taas valsts un BOOM - Briiva vieta Juusu valstij!
Dienvidamerika varētu būt OK, piemēram, Brazīlijā jau 19. gadsimtā latvieši mēģināja masveidā iefiltrēties (pēcteči tur vēl tagad tur ir palikuši), diemžēl ne visai labi esot padevusies cīņa ar vietējo korupciju utt., bet ja noorganizējam kautukur tukšu vietu, tad šoreiz viss varētu izveidoties sekmīgāk .

So when North Korea, a country that has nuclear weapons, directly threatens us and our allies, we mock them and state, "We are fully capable of protecting the US and its allies", but when Iran, a country that has NO nuclear weapons, does NOT threaten us or anyone else, we scream, "The sky is falling!" and place economic sanctions on their country that hurt everyday civilians. Can somebody tell me, what is the discrepancy??

Zach - Iran has lots of oil that we want and we truly deserve it more than they do. I think that evidence is undisputable. If Iran truly wants peace with the USA they would just give us their oil. Iran is only hurting themselves and their citizens by being so obstinate.

haha thanks Matt. I just hope that everyone can see how the media controls the discussion. North Korea is clearly more of a threat than Iran is, but nobody mocked Iran because the media didn't. The media mocks North Korea, and suddenly every post on facebook is a meme making fun of them. If North Korea isn't a threat, then Iran definitely is not and we should oppose sanctions. If Iran is a threat, than North Korea definitely should be as well and we should be a little more serious about direct threats. These current contradicting stances are highly hypocritical.

Iran threatens to wipe Israel off the map, and we are obligated to protect Israel just as we are South Korea. Since Iran actually has oil and North Korea doesn't really have anything... you can draw your own conclusions.

Iran has not threatened to wipe Israel off the map, that was a convenient mistranslation by your trusty MSM. And if we are obligated to protect South Korea, why aren't we being serious about direct threats to their country?

"But the problem is this: Ahmadinejad’s language is not exceptional within the Iranian regime.
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, also has referred to Israel as a “cancerous tumor.” “The perpetual subject of Iran,” he has explained, “is the elimination of Israel from the region.” “There is only one solution to the Middle East problem, namely the annihilation and destruction of the Jewish state.” In recent weeks, Khamenei has promised, if the Iranian nuclear program is attacked, to “level down Tel Aviv and Haifa.”

"I love Israel. I wish I could have its babies." -- Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
See how I did that?
And that is beside the point. North Korea has publicly stated that it aims to attack us and South Korea in the very near future. It doesn't get more direct than that. So why don't we have an ounce of seriousness about the situation?

Zach...brilliant reply. As much as i believe that Israel is an absolutely reliable ally of the US, placing priorities right is more important. N/korea does not just threaten ROK, it say it will level the White House and bomb American Cities...and that is as important as it gets,,,

A couple of observations. First North Korea is a joke albeit one that needs to be handled carefully. We and most of the rest of the world have leveled sanctions on them for their behavior just as we have on Iran. This is one reason why they are as screwed up economically as they are. They have a formidable military but they only have fuel to fight for around 72 hours and then they are out. China wants them as a buffer on their border against the US and South Korea and knows if there was a war North Korea would lose. They do not want that and they control virtually all the foreign aid North Korea gets from the outside world.
Iran has the largest military in the Middle East and it can control the Straits of Hormuz if it wants to do so now with conventional weapons. We could take it back but it would cost us. Most of the oil that our allies in Europe and Asia depend on the oil that comes through that area. If the Iranians develop nuclear weapons then there is no question that they become the dominant power in that part of the world. Not to mention they can shut off the oil to a large portion of the world. They also use their money to fund a lot of the terrorist activity in the world and this is just as dangerous to us, to Europe and to Israel.

Why didn't we have one of these maps for Iran? Oh I guess cause they didn't even have a bomb? So why do we still have sanctions on their country that hurt everyday civilians?

Zach - Do you not understand our Global Energy Policies? Iran is holding their oil for their own good and not the good of mankind. This cannot be allowed and will not be tolerated. North Korea has nothing so who cares about them? I surely don't.
