no m3post...I can tell you that though there were 1400 CSLs they were not that well received, anyone in the UK and knows anything about cars and BMWs in particular will know the CSL sold well enough with the first batch but the remainder had to be heavily discounted to sell the rest. The is accounts of the up to 20%+ discounts being given. That does not spell well received to me.
BMW knows how hard to was to sell and they also know what would be required to improve on the current M3 and it's a lot more than the last model. Who here would pay an extra 25~30% for an E92 M3 CSL? Especially since the GTR does everything the M3 CSL could possibly do and for a heck of a lot less money.

imho viss ir pareizi m3 standarta jau ir 70keur un cenās jau konkurē ar Porsche 911, ja ierubīs CSL pa 90k eur tad tas auto nebūs konkurētspējīgs ar R8 un līdzīgiem, it īpaši tagad, kad uz eiropu stums arī GTR nissanu, kas M3 un 911 turbo pat ēd brokastīs. pie tam jaunais e92 m3 jau ir par lielu izaudzis lai būtu reāla jēga taisīt CSL, nu ja m3 sver 1700kg kāda jēga nomest tos 100kg?
pie tam e92 m3 gabarītos jau ir kā e39 m5.
imho CSL uz šī bāzes ir tik pat bezjēdzīgs izstrādājums kā x6 un ///M7
