| A short story by Magrette.... "One day, a lovely little girl - by accident - totally wrecked her fathers beloved Magrette watch. The proud father obviously was devastated and, being a good sport and so on, showed his completely destroyed watch to his cyberfriends on a watch forum.
After some contact with the very understanding Magrette guy (being a father of two girls educates you about life in a way that settles in the mind and eases it a bit), it was decided to hand over the pieces of the watch to give things a deep thought.
Holidays came and ended, dust collected on the pieces and shrapnell of the imploded watch. Both forgot a bit about it and time passed as it seems to do, with ease and with a relentlessness that is second to none.
On a brightly lit, sunny day, the Magrette watch guy noticed the watch-that-did-not-look-as-a-watch anymore and came to a sudden conclusion. He would not repair this one, it should be returned as a reminder for father and daughter, to share a laugh or two about it in years to come, over x-mas dinners and when new boyfriends would be introduced to the family.
Obviously this would not solve the broken watch problem for the owner, who in the meantime was very busy with a newly born addition to his family (way more important than watches will ever be).
As the model was limited and not in stock anymore, not even in the parts he had on the shelf, the Magrette guy had a look in long-forgotten corners of his drawers and turned on his daylight-lamp at his desk on one of those cold, windy late evenings we have in our small country. He gathered some tools and parts and started to create something that resembled the watch. Basically trying to solve the issue without money changing hands, he had to be creative in matching parts that never were used together before. He created what some people unlovingly refer to as a FrankenWatch.
A bead blasted case from the old Regattare Date model was married with a freshly regulated movement and dial of a Regattare Moana Pacific. Unique and just because it was possible.
This watch will soon find its way back to the father. He will then hopefully show it to his lovely daughter, whose eyes will beam with joy that her father's pain is resolved and that her moment of misfortune is forever buried by him and the Magrette guy. (That is,until she sees the old watch in pieces and realizes this story will be told to all aunts, boyfriends, BFF's etc. in the years to come but let's not spoil this wonderful moment for now.)"
Because we are people too, we at Magrette sometimes try to act like it. This story is not to promote ourselves, just to remind you all that it will never hurt to think along and act from the heart. The world will be a better place and you - trust me on this - will feel good about it as well.

Lidz gatavam piedavajumam izskatas vel taalu, tacu pedejie dizaina koncepti izskats ljoti neslikti. Domaju cena varetu but zem LVL 500. Sados pasakumos ir svarigi nepalaist garam pieteiksanas bridi

varbūt ,man nezinot , arī ir sporta pulkstenis,neskatoties uz to ,ka es neesmu sportists ..bet vismaz nav nīstie romiešu cipari. |
