The culmination of Drifting Championship 2009 – PRO league final “Game over“
Drifting Championship is approaching the peak of the season‘2009 – the decisive, fourth battle of current PRO league season. It will be held on 12th of September at Kaunas, in the retail “Urmas“ territory. The battle will clear the winner of Drifting Championship‘s PRO league – the Drift King of Lithuania.
The biggest chance to become the 2009 Drift King has this season‘s newcomer – the member of “Drifter.lt“
drifting team Kęstutis Petronis with Nissan 180SX, who has 58 points. However, the last battle of this year promised a rare lot of intrigue: another “Drifter.lt“ member Timas Simniška with “Vimota” Opel Omega, the 2008 Drift King with 50 points is very closely behind the Drifting Championship leader. Behind them stays the third member of “Drifter.lt“: Darius Balys with “BCE“ BMW 550, who has 48 points. Other drivers also intend to fight for the top positions until the last tire tread‘s milimeter: member of drifting team “Nissan fanai“ Izidorius Paukštys with Nissan S14a has 36 points and he doesn‘t reject the idea of disturbing the peace for “Drifter.lt“ drivers, who have been staying in the Top3 for a very long time. Other drifters who are close to winning ternary also promise uncompromising fight for a higher place at overall standings of Drifting Championship‘2009.
Few guests from abroad will also take part in the last Drifting Championship‘s battle: some latvians and lithuanian, currently living in United Kingdon and driving an unseen car ir PRO league – Honda S2000, have given a word to come to Kaunas next Saturday.
The most experienced drifting judges of Lithuania Audrius Kasinskas and Mantas Kuzmarskis as well as a guest from Japan, the chief of famous drifting team „Team Orange“ as well a professional drifting judge Hiroki Furuse, also known as Sleepy will be judging the PRO league‘s final battle.
